These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website theversevoyager.com (including shop.theversevoyager.com and personality-assessment.theversevoyager.com), and all services provided by THE VERSE VOYAGER S.R.L.

By accessing or using our website or purchasing any of our services or products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or services.
These Terms are governed by Romanian law and applicable European Union legislation, including but not limited to the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and the Romanian Civil Code.
2. Definitions
- “We,” “us,” “our”: THE VERSE VOYAGER S.R.L., the service provider.
- “You,” “your,” “Client”: any natural or legal person who accesses our website, purchases our services, or uses our products.
- “Services”: all travel planning and advisory services we provide, including but not limited to Personality-Driven Destination Matching, Custom Travel Design (Essential and Elevated), The Quest Experience, and discovery call consultations.
- “Deliverables”: all personalized digital content we create for you, including itinerary PDFs, destination matching reports, eGuides, personalized eBooks, and gamified travel documents.
- “Products”: digital and physical items available for purchase through our online shop at shop.theversevoyager.com.
- “Personality Assessment”: the Big Five personality questionnaire available at personality-assessment.theversevoyager.com.
3. Eligibility
Our services are available exclusively to individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By using our website or purchasing our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
If we become aware that a person under the age of 18 has engaged our services, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
4. Nature of Our Services
4.1 Advisory and Content Services
The Verse Voyager provides personalized travel planning advisory services and personalized digital content (eBooks, eGuides, itinerary PDFs). We are a travel design and publishing company, not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking platform.
Important: We do not book flights, accommodation, activities, transportation, or any other travel services on your behalf. All recommendations we provide are independent and impartial — we do not have commercial agreements, partnerships, affiliate arrangements, or financial incentives with any accommodation provider, airline, tour operator, activity provider, or any other third party in the tourism industry.
4.2 No Guarantee of Third-Party Services
Our itineraries and recommendations are based on our professional experience and research at the time of creation. We do not guarantee the availability, pricing, quality, or safety of any third-party service, accommodation, restaurant, attraction, or transportation provider mentioned in our deliverables.
You are solely responsible for verifying availability, making bookings, purchasing travel insurance, checking visa and entry requirements, and ensuring compliance with local regulations at your chosen destination. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance for any trip.
4.3 Personality Assessment
The Big Five personality assessment we offer is a tool for personalizing travel recommendations. It is not a clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic psychological assessment. Results are used solely for travel design purposes and should not be interpreted as psychological advice.
5. Services, Pricing, and Payment
5.1 Available Services

Prices are listed in EUR and include all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time; however, prices confirmed at the time of your order will not change for that order.
5.2 Payment Terms
- All services require full payment upfront before work begins.
- Payment is accepted via Stripe (credit/debit card) and bank transfer.
- For bank transfers, work begins only upon receipt of funds in our account.
- All payments are processed in EUR.
- Upon payment, you will receive a confirmation email and a fiscal invoice compliant with Romanian law.
5.3 Shop Products
Products available through shop.theversevoyager.com (digital and physical) are subject to these same Terms. Product descriptions, prices, and availability are displayed on the shop page. For physical products, delivery times and shipping costs (if applicable) are indicated at checkout.
6. Order Process and Contract Formation
A binding contract between you and The Verse Voyager is formed when:
- You select a service or product and complete the payment process; and
- We confirm your order via email.
Your order confirmation email constitutes our acceptance of your order. Until that confirmation is sent, no contract exists and we reserve the right to decline any order.
For custom services (Custom Travel Design, Destination Matching), the process typically involves:
- A free discovery call to discuss your needs and expectations;
- Agreement on the scope of service and price;
- Full payment by you;
- Commencement of work by us;
- Delivery of the first draft within the agreed timeframe;
- Revision round(s) as included in your chosen package;
- Delivery of the final itinerary/deliverable.
7. Delivery
7.1 Delivery of Digital Services and Products
All deliverables (itinerary PDFs, eGuides, eBooks, destination matching reports, gamified travel documents) are delivered digitally via email or a secure download link. Delivery is deemed complete when the email is sent or the download link is made available to you.
7.2 Delivery Timeframes
We will deliver within the timeframes indicated for each service (see Section 5.1). Delivery timeframes begin from the date we receive full payment and, where applicable, all information necessary to begin work (e.g., travel dates, preferences shared during the discovery call).
If we anticipate a delay, we will notify you promptly and propose a revised delivery date. Delays caused by your failure to provide necessary information or timely feedback on drafts do not constitute a breach by us.
7.3 Delivery of Physical Products
For physical products purchased via shop.theversevoyager.com, delivery times and shipping costs are indicated at checkout. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping provider.
7.4 Revision Rounds
The number of revision rounds included depends on the service package you purchased:
- Personality-Driven Destination Matching: 1 revision round
- Custom Travel Design – Essential: 1 revision round
- Custom Travel Design – Elevated: 2 revision rounds
A “revision round” means one consolidated set of feedback from you, followed by our revised deliverable. Additional revision rounds beyond those included may be subject to an additional fee, to be agreed upon in advance.
You must submit your revision requests within 14 calendar days of receiving each draft. If no feedback is received within this period, the deliverable is deemed accepted as final.
8. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Rights)
In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and Romanian Government Ordinance 34/2014, if you are a consumer (a natural person acting for purposes outside your trade, business, or profession), you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.
8.1 Withdrawal Period
The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days from the day of the conclusion of the contract (for services) or from the day on which you acquire physical possession of the goods (for physical products).
8.2 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear, unambiguous statement sent to:

You may use the following model withdrawal statement (but it is not obligatory):
“I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service/purchase of the following product: [description]. Ordered on [date]. Name: [your name]. Address: [your address]. Date: [today’s date]. Signature (if sent by mail): [your signature].”
8.3 Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. No fees will be charged for the reimbursement.
8.4 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Art. 16 of the Consumer Rights Directive and Art. 16 of Romanian OG 34/2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Digital content: Contracts for the supply of digital content (such as personalized itineraries, eGuides, eBooks) which is not supplied on a tangible medium, if the performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. We will ask for this consent at checkout if your deliverable has already been started.
- Fully personalized services: Contracts for the supply of services that have been fully performed, if performance began with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the contract was fully performed.
- Custom-made goods: Contracts for the supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized.
In practice: If we have not yet begun working on your order, you may withdraw freely within 14 days for a full refund. If work has already begun (i.e., we have started researching and drafting your personalized deliverable), the right of withdrawal may no longer apply, provided we obtained your prior express consent at checkout.
9. Refund Policy
9.1 Grounds for a Refund
Beyond the statutory right of withdrawal described in Section 8, you are entitled to a refund if:
- We fail to deliver the agreed service within the agreed timeframe (or a reasonable extended timeframe agreed upon by both parties);
- The deliverable materially fails to match the scope agreed upon during the discovery call and confirmed in our order summary;
- The deliverable contains substantial errors or omissions that render it unusable for its intended purpose, and we fail to correct them within a reasonable revision round.
9.2 Refund Procedure
To request a refund, please contact us at contact@theversevoyager.com with a description of the issue. We will review your request within 7 business days.
If a refund is granted:
- Full refund: issued if the deliverable was not provided at all, or if we determine the issue cannot be remedied.
- Partial refund: issued proportionally if part of the service was satisfactorily delivered and the remainder was not.
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction within 14 calendar days of the refund decision.
9.3 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- You change your mind about your travel plans after receiving a deliverable that matches the agreed scope;
- Third-party services recommended in your itinerary (accommodation, activities, transport) are unavailable, change pricing, or do not meet your expectations — we are an advisory service and do not guarantee third-party providers;
- You fail to provide the information or feedback necessary for us to complete your deliverable within the agreed timeframe;
- You request changes that fall outside the originally agreed scope (these may be quoted as additional work).
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Our Content
All content on our websites (theversevoyager.com, shop.theversevoyager.com, personality-assessment.theversevoyager.com), including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, blog posts, guides, and the underlying design and code, is the property of THE VERSE VOYAGER S.R.L. and is protected by Romanian and international copyright law.
10.2 Your Deliverables
Upon full payment for a service, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the deliverable (itinerary PDF, eGuide, eBook, destination report, gamified travel document) for your own personal, non-commercial travel purposes.
You may not: resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish online, share publicly, or use our deliverables for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing itineraries on social media as downloadable content, selling them to third parties, or incorporating them into other products or services.
We retain all copyright and intellectual property rights in the deliverables, including the structure, methodology, route logic, and design. We may use anonymized, non-identifiable elements of our work (such as general destination knowledge and methodology) in future projects and content.
10.3 Your Content
Any information, preferences, or feedback you provide to us remains your property. By providing this information, you grant us a limited license to use it solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed services.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Scope of Our Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of THE VERSE VOYAGER S.R.L. arising out of or in connection with these Terms, any service, deliverable, or product shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.
11.2 Exclusions
We shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of enjoyment, or cost of substitute services;
- Any damages arising from your use of third-party services recommended in our deliverables, including but not limited to cancellations, delays, overbookings, personal injury, illness, loss of property, or any other event related to third-party travel services;
- Any damages resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, strikes, war, terrorism, governmental actions, or technical failures of third-party platforms;
- Any loss or damage arising from your failure to follow recommendations regarding travel insurance, visa requirements, health precautions, or local laws and regulations;
- Any inaccuracies in our deliverables caused by changes in third-party services, pricing, availability, or local conditions that occurred after the delivery date.
11.3 Mandatory Consumer Protections
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Gross negligence (culpă gravă) or wilful misconduct (dol);
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Romanian law or mandatory EU consumer protection legislation.
If you are a consumer within the European Union, you retain all mandatory rights provided by the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. These Terms do not affect those rights.
12. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics or epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental actions or restrictions, power failures, internet or telecommunications outages, or disruptions to postal or courier services.
In such cases, we will notify you promptly, and our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event. If the event continues for more than 30 calendar days, either party may terminate the contract by written notice. In case of termination due to force majeure, you will receive a full refund for any services not yet delivered.
13. Data Protection and Privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Romanian Law 190/2018, and our Privacy Policy, available at theversevoyager.com/privacy-policy.
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy. For detailed information about what data we collect, why, how we process it, your rights, and how to exercise them, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
The personality assessment at personality-assessment.theversevoyager.com processes psychological profiling data on the basis of your explicit consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at contact@theversevoyager.com.

Our website uses cookies. Non-essential cookies (including analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4) are only placed with your prior consent, which you can give or refuse via our cookie consent pop-up. 15. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website and deliverables may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by us. We provide these links for convenience and informational purposes only.

Your use of any third-party website or service is at your own risk and subject to that third party’s terms and conditions.
16. Your Obligations
By using our website and services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when requested (e.g., travel dates, preferences, personality assessment responses);
- Respond to our communications and draft deliveries within reasonable timeframes to avoid delays;
- Use our deliverables solely for your personal, non-commercial travel purposes and in accordance with these Terms;
- Not reproduce, distribute, sell, or publicly share our deliverables without our prior written consent;
- Not use our website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site, or interfere with any other party’s use of the site;
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations when traveling, including visa, health, and entry requirements of your destination(s).
17. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
17.1 Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us first at contact@theversevoyager.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 72 hours and endeavor to resolve it within 30 calendar days.
17.2 EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)
If you are a consumer in the European Union and we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to seek an out-of-court resolution.

17.3 Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
In accordance with Romanian legislation implementing Directive 2013/11/EU on alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes, you may also refer your complaint to a certified ADR entity in Romania. We will inform you of the relevant ADR entity if a complaint cannot be resolved directly.
17.4 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably or through the ODR/ADR mechanisms above shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence grant you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
18. Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms;
- Post a notice on our website informing users of the changes;
- Where required by law, notify you by email before the changes take effect.
Material changes will take effect 30 calendar days after posting, unless a longer period is required by law. Your continued use of our website or services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using our website and services.
Changes will not retroactively affect services already contracted and paid for under the prior version of these Terms.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic intent of the invalid provision, to the extent permitted by law.
20. Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver of a breach shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and THE VERSE VOYAGER S.R.L. regarding your use of our website and services, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications (whether written or oral) relating to the subject matter hereof.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and our Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy shall prevail with respect to data protection matters.
22. Language
These Terms are drafted in English. If these Terms are translated into any other language, the English version shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency or dispute.
