What am I doing?

I’m Andrei, the heart behind The Verse Voyager—a traveler, amateur poet, cognitive scientist, and quiet believer in magic.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the spaces in between: the hush of a mountain sunrise, the poetry of unfamiliar streets, the thrill of stepping into the unknown. I’ve wandered through complex terrains, found stillness in motion, and watched my world shift with every step. Travel, for me, has never been only about escape—it’s been about becoming.

With a background in software engineering and a master’s in cognitive science, I know how the mind works—its longing for meaning, its weariness from decision fatigue, its quiet hunger for wonder. And with a pen in one hand and a passport in the other, I set out to create something that would transform travel into a more soulful experience.
